Public Comment Period Extended on the Lahontan Water Board Tentative Waste Discharge Requirements and Monitoring and Reporting Program for the USFS Lake Tahoe Management Unit (LTBMU) South Shore Fuel Reduction and Healthy Forest Restoration Project (South Shore Project) – The Lahontan Water Board is acting as the Lead Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act for the above project. The Water Board anticipates considering waste discharge requirements for the LTBMU South Shore Project at a future Lahontan Water Board Meeting. The Water Board will be evaluating the LTBMU’s Final Environmental Impact Statement as part of its regulatory decision. Please provide comments on this document to the Water Board by May 10, 2010.
