Revision to the Sources of Drinking Water Policy

GROUNDWATER DE-DESIGNATION AT THE ROYAL MOUNTAIN KING MINE SITE

On January 20, 2015, the State Water Board adopted a Resolution to revise the Sources of Drinking Water Policy (“Policy Revision”) by establishing a new, site-specific exception that de-designates the municipal and domestic uses of groundwater beneath portions of the Royal Mountain King Mine Site in Calaveras County. On 19 May 2015 the Office of Administrative Law approved the Policy Revision.
