RESOLUTION NO. 99 – 081

AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATION AND EXECUTION OF AN INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD AND THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SUPPORT OF CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ACTIVITIES FOR FY 1999-00

WHEREAS:
 

1.  The 1999 Budget Act authorized funding on a "pro-rata" basis from each Cal/EPA Board, Department or Office to provide funding for support of California Environmental Protection Agency activities for FY 1999-00.

2.      The Board is one of the organizations under Cal/EPA.

3.  Each fiscal year the Board enters into an interagency agreement with the Office of the Secretary for Environmental Protection to Provide funding for Cal/EPA staffing and operating costs.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

That the State Water Board authorizes the Executive Director or his designee to negotiate and execute an interagency agreement with the Office of the Secretary for Environmental Protection to provide funding for support of Cal/EPA activities in an amount not to exceed $794,000 for Fiscal Year 1999-00.
