11. Public Hearing to receive
comments on the draft Negative Declaration and the proposed Exception to the
California Ocean Plan for the University of California Scripps Institution
of Oceanography to discharge into the San Diego Marine Life Refuge Area of
Special Biological Significance (As
previously noticed, comments must be received by 5:00 p.m., June 25, 2004.)

LITIGATION The Board will be meeting in closed session
to discuss ongoing litigation in the cases of DeltaKeeper, et al. v. California
Regional Water Quality Control Board,
Central Valley, et al. (Sacramento County Superior Court,
No. 04CS00235) and California Farm Bureau Federation v. California Regional
Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley, et al. (Sacramento County Superior
Court, No. 04CS00264). (This closed
session is authorized under Government Code section 11126(e)(1).)

JOINT PUBLIC MEETING (July 8)
A quorum of the SWRCB will
also be meeting on July 8, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in the Central Valley Auditorium,
1001 I Street, Sacramento, for a joint meeting with the Central Valley Regional
Board (Regional Board), to discuss the status of the conditional waivers of
waste discharge requirements for irrigated agricultural issued by the Regional
Board.
A quorum of the SWRCB may also attend the
Regional Board meeting immediately following.
