Financial Assistance Funding - Grants and Loans Drinking Water SRF: Drinking Water and Proposition 1 Workshops
PROPOSITION 1 - DRINKING WATER
Chapter 5, Section 79724(a) of Proposition 1 (Assembly Bill 1471, Rendon) allocates $260 million for drinking water grants and loans for public water system infrastructure improvements and related actions to meet safe drinking water standards ensure affordable drinking water, or both. These funds will be administered consistent with the DWSRF Intended Use Plan (DWSRF IUP) and the DWSRF Policy. Administering these funds as a part of the DWSRF Program allows grant funds to be easily leveraged with low-interest financing available through the DWSRF Program. DWSRF applications are accepted on a continuous basis, and eligible projects are funded as applications are completed and approved.
