Erase the Waste
YOU CAN HELP REDUCE STORM WATER POLLUTION
Storm water pollution is a serious public health issue
in Los Angeles County, leading to unsanitary living
environments, unhealthy ocean and beach conditions,
and lowered water quality at our rivers, lakes and
the ocean. With nearly 10 million people living in
Los Angeles County, each resident's contribution to
storm water pollution adds up quickly to create a
grave environmental situation.
The good news is that we can all make a difference in preserving and restoring water quality in Los Angeles. By making small changes in your everyday habits, you can do your part to prevent pollution in your local neighborhood and surrounding communities. If everyone takes action to reduce the pollution they create, we can greatly improve water quality in our region and protect the health and safety of our families and neighbors.
