| Regional Board Conclusion: | This water body pollutant combination is being considered for removal from the section 303(d) List under section 4.5 of the Listing Policy. The entire Susan River was listed for mercury in 2006 based on fish tissue data form the Toxic Substances Monitoring Program that exceeded Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) Screening Value criteria. For the 2008 assessment the river was split into three segments. The tissue used for the original listing was collected in two upstream segments. No tissue data for mercury are available for this segment. There are no known fish passage barriers, and fish from the upstream segments may reach this one. There is insufficient information to delist this segment at this time. |
