Closed Session Items
The Board will be meeting in
closed session to deliberate on a proposed order prepared after a hearing on
petitions for change and extension of time filed by South Feather Water and
Power Agency (formerly Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District) and Yuba County
Water District on six permits. The permits authorize diversion from Lost Creek,
Sly Creek, South Fork Feather River and Slate Creek in Butte and Yuba Counties.
LITIGATION (This is authorized under
Government Code section 11126(e)(1).)
The Board will meet in closed
session to discuss pending litigation RE: Stockton East Water District, et al.,
v. United States (United States Court of Federal Claims, No. 04-541L).
The
State Board encourages submittal of written comments, which must be submitted
by 5:00 p.m., May 14, 2004, and requests that oral testimony be
summarized. Time limitations on
presentations may be imposed. See
