In 2012, the State Water Board held three workshops to receive scientific and technical information on the following topics related to the Phase II Bay-Delta Effort:
- Ecosystem Changes and the Low Salinity Zone
- Bay-Delta Fishery Resources (focusing on pelagic fishes and salmonids)
- Analytical Tools for Evaluating the Water Supply, Hydrodynamic, and Hydropower Effects of the Bay-Delta Plan
