Spadra Landfill and Resource Conservation Project
Pomona, Los Angeles County.

Scheduled for April 1, 2010, Board Meeting

Written comments are due by Close of Business (5 p.m.) on March 10 , 2010.

The Regional Board will consider, at its April 1, 2010, meeting, adopting revised waste discharge requirements (WDRs) for the Spadra Landfill and Resource Conservation Project (Spadra Landfill) in Pomona, Los Angeles County, which has been closed since 2002. The proposed revised WDRs, if adopted, will replace the existing WDRs for the Spadra Landfill that were adopted on January 23, 1989, for the operation of an active Class III municipal landfill. The revised WDRs will reflect the fact that the Spadra Landfill is closed and will include requirements for post-closure maintenance and corrective actions in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations. Written comments concerning the tentative WDRs may be sent to: Wen Yang, Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board, 320 West 4th Street, Suite 200, Los Angeles, CA 90013 or wyang@waterboards.ca.gov.
