Amendments to the Water Quality Control Plan from the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins to add site-specific water quality objectives water quality objectives for chloroform, chlorodibromomethane, and dichlorobromomethane for New Alamo and Ulatis Creeks.  The amendments include implementation provisions for point source dischargers to Old Alamo Creek.  Status: Adopted by the Regional Water Quality Control Board on 27 May 2010 in Resolution No. R5-2010-0047 and approved by the State Water Board on 16 August 2011 in Resolution No. 2011-0036, the Office of Administrative Law on 3 November 2011, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on 9 April 2013. These amendments are in effect as of 9 April 2013.

Public Hearing

The Regional Water Board will hold a public hearing during its regular May 2010 meeting to consider adopting amendments to the Basin Plan.

CEQA Scoping Meeting

The Regional Water Board is considering amending the Basin Plan to provide for appropriate human health protection for New Alamo and Ulatis Creeks and the upper reaches of Cache Slough. The proposed Basin Plan amendment may include elements such as: modification of beneficial uses and development of site-specific water quality objectives. A scoping meeting is scheduled for 28 June 2007 from 1 pm to 3 pm at the City of Vacaville's Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant to discuss environmental issues that must be considered for the proposed amendment. Written comments are to be submitted no later than 13 July 2007.
