Preparing an Operation and Maintenance Plan - Limited Population Operations
- Limited Population bovine operations are required to prepare an Operation and Maintenance Plan (O & M Plan) and keep the plan at their facility in an accessible place. Guidelines for preparing an O & M Plan for a bovine operation classified as Limited Population can be found in the following document:
Preparing and Filing an Operation and Maintenance Plan – Limited Time Operations
- The deadline for filing an Operation and Maintenance Plan (O & M Plan) is 31 December 2018. Guidelines for preparing an O & M Plan for a bovine operation classified as Limited Time can be found in the following document:
- The O & M Plan should be submitted through the GeoTracker system:
The Central Valley Water Board has implemented a Paperless Office system that requires electronic submittal of information (ESI) to reduce paper use, increase efficiency, and provide a more effective way for our staff, the public and interested parties to view case files and other file documents on the State Water Resources Control Board's Internet-accessible database system (GeoTracker database).
You or your representative need to set up a GeoTracker user account. Instructions for setting up an account and the process of claiming a site, formatting and uploading data, and other technical information can be found under the "ESI Overview" and "Getting Started" sections at https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/ust/electronic_submittal/.
Please convert all correspondence that you would normally submit to us as hard copies to a searchable Portable Document Format (PDF). Documents should be less than 400 MB to be uploaded to the GeoTracker database. PDF file size reduction tools should be used to reduce the size of files larger than 400 MB (be sure to retain a copy of your original file just in case your reduced-size PDF results in unacceptable viewing clarity and you need to redo the size-reduction process using different reduction settings).
