The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description: |
The purpose of the project is to restore and stabilize an incised reach of Castro Valley Creek, and in particular, to stabilize the left bank (outside radius) along a meander where a recent slump failure now threatens the residential structure. Other structures at potential future risk include an in-ground pool located in the exit zone of the main meander. |
