The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description: |
Existing depths within the berth at the east side of the the AMPORTS Pier were too shallow to allow the petroleum coke vessels from safely docking. The shoaling is localized and relatively small. The inability to dock the pet-coke vessels will cause a significant disruption to the Valero Refinery. |
