The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

Alcatraz City Cruises is proposing urgent, temporary stabilization measure intended to reduce loads on compromised ferry float piles, prevent further structural damage, and preserve safe access for park staff, the public, and emergency vessels. The National Park Service (NPS) Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) is the Federal Action Agency for the project. See the attached project description for additional project details.
