The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The overall project purpose is to develop a commercially feasible, financeable, 100 MW solar energy generation project capable of meeting requirements of the Project’s power purchase agreement, sited to provide wholesale renewable energy and local Resource Adequacy (RA) values to the electrical grid in the East Bay, within close proximity to a point of interconnection with adequate capacity to accept the Project’s energy, while avoiding the most sensitive natural resources in the area and maintaining consistency with local zoning and land use plans. |
