Section 401 Water Quality Certification Public Notice

Bear Gulch Upper Fish Ladder Diversion Access Road and Raw Water Main Transmission Pipeline Repair Projects


The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. We encourage public comments on the proposed work, which will be considered in the decision on certification. You may submit comments on this project to the staff member below.

Project Description:

Access Road Project: The proposed project would construct a pier support soldier pile wall along the outboard edge of the remaining access road. Transmission Line Project: The proposed project would stabilize the southern creek bank to protect critical infrastructure, including the existing transmission line, as well as maintain operation of the Upper Diversion Facility.
