The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The Bel Marin Keys is a residential community located east of the city of Novato in Marin County. The community surrounds two lagoons that are connected to Novato Creek by navigational locks. In addition to the navigational locks, a set of flood gates located just south of the North Lagoon Locks aids in flood control within the North Lagoon. The navigation locks, floodgates and adjacent seawalls require maintenance and repair. |
