| Project Description: |
California State Parks is proposing to complete necessary repairs to the existing historic pier and building at China Camp State Park. The project is expected to provide a net long-term benefit to water quality and the marine environment due to the removal of approximately 23 tons of creosote-treated timber from the marine environment. Additionally, the proposed pile replacement will restore approximately 10 sf of bay bottom due to the use of smaller diameter piles on average. |
