FCZ 3B Pine Creek Erosion Repair Project
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The repair would improve the post-construction condition of the bank relative to the existing eroded condition by stabilizing exposed soil, reducing future bank erosion, and supporting revegetation of the disturbed slope. These features would provide indirect benefits to aquatic habitat by reducing sediment delivery to Pine Creek, improving localized bank stability, and creating a more natural vegetated bank surface than conventional exposed rock armoring. |
