Project Description: |
The Department of the Army (DOA) is proposing implementation of geotechnical borings along the MOTCO Flood Control Levee Project alignment based on the Preferred Alternative. The geotechnical borings would characterize the subsurface soil profile to inform the type of foundation required for the proposed levee/floodwall, the estimated depth of bearing for foundations, earthwork criterium, pavement materials and thicknesses, as well as other critical design measures necessary for completion of the Flood Control Levee Project. |
