| Project Description: |
Marin Water is proposing to stabilize and improve its existing NML water transmission pipeline in the unincorporated community of Lagunitas in Marin County. The proposed pipeline improvements include two locations where the NML crosses San Geronimo Creek via a 34-inch-diameter ACCP featuring unrestrained bell and spigot joints, which present structural and environmental concerns that the proposed upgrades aim to address. Both crossings are part of the NML, which was originally constructed in 1957. The NML serves as a critical conveyance system for raw water sourced from Marin Water’s Kent Lake and Nicasio Reservoir, delivering it to the San Geronimo Treatment Plant. |
