Novato Creek Sediment Maintenance And Wetland Enhancement Project
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The project purpose is to (1) remove sediment needed to maintain the originally designed flood level of protection for the Novato Creek Flood Control Project and (2) beneficially reuse the sediment as part of the District’s long-term plan to adapt Deer Island Basin and the Novato Baylands to sea level rise. |
