Parkway-Moraga 230kV Reconductoring Project
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The purpose of the Project is to ensure PG&E can continue to provide a reliable supply of electrical energy to the public. Parkway-Moraga 230kV Towers 005/034 and 006/035 are deteriorated and require replacement. The towers must be reconductored following replacement, requiring work over a navigable water (i.e., the Carquinez Strait). |
