Pier 27 Emergency Maintenance Dredging Project
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The results of recent bathymetric surveys revealed an increased rate of sedimentation at Pier 27 that have resulted in insufficient depths to accommodate planned vessel calls. Emergency maintenance dredging is needed to maintain safe and navigable depths. |
