Ravenswood-San Mateo 230kV Tower 001/011 Replacement Project
The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. | Project Description: |
The purpose of the Project is to ensure PG&E can continue to provide a reliable supply of electrical energy to the public. Tower 001/011 has a failing foundation and requires replacement. Tower 002/012 must be reinforced due to changes in loading associated with the replacement of Tower 001/011. The boardwalk to Tower 001/011 must be routed to the new tower location to provide safe, all-weather, pedestrian access for ongoing inspections, operations, and maintenance activities. |
