Richmond Blvd Emergency Culvert Repair Project |
| City/County: |
Oakland, Alameda County |
| Comment Period: |
7/22/2026 - 08/11/2026 |
| Project Description: |
Through normal inspection program, staff found that the existing culvert has deteriorated structurally and the results of the latest inspections and investigations require that swift actions be taken to repair the culvert to address the threat of life and/or property damage to the general public, and surrounding residents, structures and properties. Without immediate repair, the culvert structure is at risk of major failure during the upcoming rain season’s storm flows, which could cause flooding and major damage to upstream and downstream properties. |
