Sulphur Creek (Zone 2 Line K) Flood Channel Bank Repair And Restoration Project


The San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board is currently reviewing an application for the following project for water quality certification under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act. Project Description:

The purpose is to repair the existing levee and associated service road, and to restore and enhance aquatic habitat along Sulphur Creek to prevent flooding, to protect a number of fully protected wildlife species that inhabit adjacent Oro Loma and Frank’s West Marsh, including the state and federally-endangered Salt Marsh Harvest Mouse (SMHM) and federally-threatened Snowy Plover (SP).
