| Project Description: | The Bramhall Pond Restoration project consists of deepening and restoring the pre-existing pond and associated tributaries to improve natural habitat quality, provide longer period hydrology, and increase surrounding native vegetation. Additionally, a natural-stone hardened crossing will be installed where the pond overflows across the trail to reduce erosion and improve nearby trail stability. Excavated soils from the pond will also be used for nearby grassland restoration that currently consists of non-native, invasive vegetation. |
