San Diego Region - Certified Projects (401 Certifications - 2007)

Interstate 15 Managed Lanes North Segment Unit 2, Certification 12/21/2007, The proposed project is the continued expansion and management of I-15. This project involves the widening of the northbound and southbound bridges, and the replacement of the southbound I-15 off-ramp with a widened bridge, over Escondido Creek Flood Control Channel.

The California Regional Water Quality Control Board San Diego Region (Regional Board) is amending the Shaw Lorenz project 401 Water Quality Certification (Certification No. 04C-152). This amendment has been requested by Pardee Homes to reflect a revised, proposed project with less impacts to waters of the U.S., less impacts to waters of the State (depression features, vernal road pools, or vernal swales), and the proposed increase of vernal pool mitigation.

State Route 79 Culvert Improvements, Certification 09/17/2007. The project will upgrade culverts to increase capacity under the roadway and reduce flows across the road and undercutting of the pavement.

125 South Toll Road, Certification 08/21/2007. Construction of eight-lane highway from Otay Mesa Road (Route 905) to Spring Valley Road (Route 54).

The Poche Beach Urban Runoff Ultraviolet Treatment System was originally certified for the County of Orange Department of Public Works on 05/21/2007. Amendment 1 was issued 06/06/2007.
