On March 8, 2016, the Lahontan Water Board Prosecution Team issued Revised Administrative Civil Liability Complaint No. R6T-2016-0008 (Complaint) to Aramark Sports and Entertainment Services, LLC and Travel Systems, LLC (Aramark or Discharger). The Complaint alleges that the Discharger has violated the Clean Water Act, California Water Code, and waste discharge prohibitions specified by the Water Quality Control Plan for the Lahontan Region (Basin Plan). The alleged violations are a result of an approximately 4-gallon discharge of hydraulic fluid from the Tahoe Queen site-seeing boat to Lake Tahoe on March 5, 2015. The Complaint proposes that the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Lahontan Region (Water Board) assess an administrative civil liability against the Discharger in the amount of $4,683. The Revised ACL R6T-2016-0008 withdraws the first ACL R6T-2016-0006.
