File Formats
Documents on the Water Boards' website are mostly presented in PDF format. However, occasionally, you may find them in other electronic file formats.
There are free readers for many software programs, available on the internet. Below are a few suggestions. If you do not see the software you are looking for listed here, we recommend that you search for it on the internet (Google). If you need assistance, please discuss with your I.T. support team. ~Thank you.
PDF Format
Files in PDF format may be viewed and printed using Adobe Reader software (version 7 or higher recommended), available free from Adobe's web site at: http://www.adobe.com. Once there, locate and download the Adobe Reader. A complete hard copy of the document may be obtained by downloading and printing all pages of the PDF file. The printed report will look the same as the original, regardless of computer platform, installed fonts, or printer configuration.
MPEG Format
On the Web, MPEG Video files have the extension .mpg and MPEG Audio files generally have the extension .mp2 or .mp3. In order to play MPEG Video files or MPEG Audio, you should install an MPEG video player and an MPEG Audio Player on your system. Please see the following website for more information: http://www.mpeg.org/.
ZIP Archive
The files contained in a ZIP format archive may be downloaded and then decompressed with software available on the Internet at either of the following sites:
QuickTime
Video files may be played using QuickTime software, available free from Apple's web site at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html (for Windows) Macintosh OS includes QuickTime software; no download necessary.
