Scott River Watershed Curtailment Orders and Addendums for 2025 Scott-Shasta Emergency Regulations
Curtailment Status:
Scott River Watershed: On May 21, 2026, the State Waterboard issued Addendum 9 to Order WR 2024-0024-DWR, reinstating curtailments for all surface water rights in the Scott River. At this time all surface water diversions under water rights specified in the attached Attachment A need to cease immediately. It is important to note that Scott River has low snowpack, and all diverters are encouraged to conserve and coordinate their diversions to maintain the minimum instream flows. The State Water Board will continue to monitor flows to determine if further adjustments to the curtailments are appropriate.
- Order WR 2024-0024-DWR: Curtails surface water diversions in the Scott River watershed.
- Order WR 2024-0025-DWR: Curtails adjudicated groundwater rights and groundwater diversions associated with parcels listed in Attachment A of the Order, for the Scott River watershed.
