Telemetry Technical Group
In April 2023, the Telemetry Research Unit (TRU) convened a small, diverse Telemetry Technical Group of interested parties who conduct telemetered monitoring or use telemetered data. The Technical Group was formed to help the Board:
- Better understand current data standards and data transfer processes.
- Explore best practices that can streamline and enhance telemetered reporting.
- Develop relationships with interested parties.
The results of the Technical Group were presented on May 31, 2024.
Closeout Meeting
Clear Lake Watershed Review
Board staff evaluated water diversion data files submitted by reporters in the Clear Lake watershed to understand how reporters format their data files and if those files are suitable for automated data analysis. Equipment Review
Board Staff evaluated water monitoring device information and interviewed equipment manufacturers to evaluate the current state of telemetered water monitoring equipment in California.
