California Water Accounting, Tracking, and Reporting System (CalWATRS)

• 2026 Annual Water Use Reports – are available in CalWATRS now
  The deadline to submit 2026 Annual Water Use Reports is, January 31, 2027. A 30-day grace period is available, and reports may be submitted through March 1, 2027 without penalty.
• Reporting Must Be Completed in CalWATRS — eWRIMS User IDs and Passwords Do Not Work in CalWATRS
  All annual Water Diversion and Use Reports must be submitted electronically. CalWATRS is the platform for submitting annual reports. The previous platform, eWRIMS, has been decommissioned. Access to CalWATRS requires a user-created account. Users sign in with the email address and password they established during registration. Your eWRIMS username and password will not work in CalWATRS.
• No PIN is needed to access CalWATRS annual reports.
  After signing in, your linked water rights should be visible in your account. If they are not displayed, contact CalWATRS-Help@waterboards.ca.gov and staff will assist you with account access.
