Pajaro River Watershed Chlorpyrifos and Diazinon TMDL
Information
Problem Statement - The Pajaro River, Pajaro River Estuary, and Llagas Creek are impaired due to exceedances of the water quality objective for pesticides and toxicity. The Pajaro River Estuary is impaired due to diazinon. Pajaro River is impaired due to chlorpyrifos and diazinon. Llagas Creek is impaired due to chlorpyrifos. The aquatic habitat beneficial uses are not being protected in these waterbodies because of these impairments. This project identifies the causes of impairment and describes solutions to achieve water quality objectives and protection of beneficial uses.
