Programs to Help Create EDF Formatted Laboratory Reports
Latest EDCC version1.2i updated August 31, 2001.
The EDCC is the checking tool for the EDF format. Install file by downloading and double clicking the edcc.exe file.

EDF can be produced directly from a LIMS, using the COELT program, or by manually entering the data on an example EDF file. Incorporating the GeoTracker EDF format into the laboratory’s LIMS software is recommended.
To install COELT, simply double click on the coelt.exe file after downloading.

Note: Default Password is "coelt". Unfortunately, the COELT program is not compatible with Windows 11. The EDF Help Desk team is currently working on a replacement.

If you would like to manually enter the data in an EDF file, refer to an example EDF template.
Please follow the EDF Guidelines and Restrictions and EDF Data Dictionary documents when entering the data.
For certain fields within the EDF, you will need to provide the appropriate valid value codes. You can search for the appropriate valid value code through the Valid Value List webpage.
