2018 Industrial General Permit Amendment Documents for Board Adoption

Until the State Water Board clerk certifies the modified Industrial General Permit that contains the Amendments adopted by the State Water Board on November 6, the below unofficial draft document is available for use.

  • Proposed changes in response to public comments received by February 14, 2018 (posted on 09/26/2018):
    The versions of the Order, Factsheet, Attachment E, and Attachment I posted on September 26, 2018, were replaced with reformatted versions of those same documents on September 27, 2018. No substantive changes to the September 26, 2018, draft permit were included.

  • Underline and strikeout versions of the proposed changes in response to public comments received by February 14, 2018. The underline and strikeout formatting of these documents reflects the differences between the currently effective Order, Fact Sheet, and Attachments, and the Order, Fact Sheet, and Attachments as proposed to be amended, with additions reflected in blue-double underline text and deletions reflected in red-double strikeout text (posted on 09/27/2018):
    These underline and strikeout versions of the proposed Amendment are intended to be tools for the public to use in identifying and understanding the changes proposed to the Industrial General Storm Water Permit. Great effort has been made to ensure they are as accurate as possible. In the case of conflict between these versions and the clean versions listed above, the clean versions are controlling.

  • Alternate underline and strikeout versions of the proposed changes in response to public comments received by February 14, 2018. The underline and strikeout formatting of these documents reflects the differences between three sets of documents: (1) the currently effective Order, Fact Sheet, and Attachments; (2) the December 15, 2017, versions of the Order, Fact Sheet, and Attachments released for public comment; and (3) the Order, Fact Sheet, and Amendments are currently proposed to be amended. Additions proposed in the proposed Amendment released for public comment on December 15, 2017, are reflected in blue-underline text and deletions are reflected in red-strikeout text. Any communications between interested persons and board members (other than at a noticed board meeting or submitted as a comment letter in compliance with the public notice) must be disclosed by the interested person within seven days of the communication.
