Domestic well water is typically used by single family homeowners for private use and consumption. It is the responsibility of the well owner to ensure that their domestic well water is safe.

LOOKING FOR WELL DRILLING RECORDS (WELL COMPLETION REPORT)?

For information on well drilling records (well completion reports) please refer to the Department of Water Resources site for DWR Well Completion Reports. This site contains the WCR Map Application which can be used to locate wells and their associated well completion reports. In addition, there are instructions for users to submit requests if they cannot find what they are looking for in the WCR Map Application.
